The name’s, Blue, Jenny Blue! That’s me…
Dancing has always been one of my passions and I am so, so lucky I am able to share this passion with my dance family….
Zumba … I have been teaching Zumba classes in the Horsham area since November 2016. Aside from being a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor (Exercise to Music) and Zumba instructor, I am also trained to deliver classes in Strong Nation (Zumba’s very own HIIT programme) and Zumba Kids/Kids Jr. One of the reasons I love Zumba so much is the diversity of dance styles I can pack into one hour of dancing, and not even notice that I’m exercising whilst simultaneously wiggling and giggling. You can check out my instructor profile page (Jenny Coote) over at the Zumba website.
Bellydance … I have been bellydancing for over fifteen years and have my first teacher, Storm, to thank for getting me well and truly hooked. I perform as part of a theatrical bellydance troupe, the Chameleons; as a solo performer; and with the group I teach, Dirty Feet. I have been very lucky to study with many teachers, including Mardi Love, Morgana, Hilde Cannoodt, to name but a few. I am now thrilled to have started my own beginners’ bellydance class in Southwater, West Sussex.
When I’m not dancing you’ll more than likely find me either … in the sea … on the allotment tending my veggies … going on mysterious adventures … taking photos … watching sports (mostly motor racing, cricket, golf, basketball, tennis) … watching/reading/writing murder mysteries … stargazing … nature-watching … tracking down Concorde aeroplanes … puzzling & playing Countdown (yep, that was me on series 78 – I was knocked out by one of the eventual finalists) … eating cake … drinking tea … hugging trees … talking to bees …
Nature Lover • Dancer • Sportsfan • Mystery Writer • Pâtisserie Aficionado ...rucksack packed: let the adventures continue! 🗺🤍💙💛
